By booking MJB Studios, you agree to the following policies and accept responsibility for the studio, its contents, and the conduct of everyone attending your reservation.

Booking & Rental Time

All sales are final. Reservations may be rescheduled one time to an available date within 30 days of the original booking.

Your reservation includes setup, shooting, cleanup, and breakdown. You and your guests must be completely finished and out of the studio by the end of your booked time. Late arrival does not extend your reservation, and unused time is nonrefundable. Additional fees may apply for exceeding your reserved time.

Care of the Studio

The person who books the studio is responsible for the condition of the space and for the actions of all clients, guests, crew members, children, and approved animals attending the reservation.

Please treat all furniture, props, décor, equipment, floors, walls, mirrors, backdrops, and sets with care.

• Do not stand on furniture or use furniture in a way it was not intended.
• Lift furniture when moving it. Do not drag or slide it across the floor.
• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• Clean shoes are required when stepping onto seamless paper backdrops.
• Report any damage or malfunctioning equipment to MJB Studios immediately.

Renters are financially responsible for damage, excessive cleaning, repair, or replacement costs resulting from their reservation.

Prohibited Items

The following are not permitted inside the studio:

• Smoking or vaping
• Confetti or glitter
• Smoke bombs, fog machines, haze machines, or similar devices
• Candles, incense, sparklers, or open flames
• Food or beverages other than water without prior approval
• Paint or other messy, staining, or potentially damaging materials without prior written approval

Smoking on the premises will result in a $500 fee. Use of prohibited materials may result in additional cleaning or damage fees and/or loss of future rental privileges.

Furniture, Props & Equipment

Available studio furniture, props, and lighting equipment are included with your rental and must be handled with care.

Renters are responsible for setting up and breaking down any lighting equipment they use. Before leaving, all furniture, props, décor, and equipment must be returned to their original locations.

MJB Studios is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings or equipment.

Animals

Animals require prior approval and may be subject to a pet fee. Renters are responsible for supervising their animals, cleaning up after them, and any damage or excessive cleaning they cause.

Before You Leave

All cleanup and resetting must be completed within your reserved time.

Before leaving:

• Return furniture, props, décor, and equipment to their original locations.
• Clean any spills, dirt, fingerprints, or messes created during your rental.
• Remove all personal belongings and trash.
• Turn off and unplug studio equipment and turn off all lights.
• Close and lock all required doors.

Please leave the studio clean, organized, and ready for the next renter.

Additional Studio Information

• Onsite restrooms are available at both locations.
• Clothing racks and hangers are not provided.
• You may bring your own speaker and play music at a reasonable volume.
• Adult or sexually explicit content is not permitted. Boudoir is permitted.
• The piano and tub at the Dallas location are not to be moved. They are very heavy. We are not responsible for injuries due to violating this policy.
• Behind-the-scenes photos and videos are welcome. Tag us at @mjbstudiostx when sharing your work!

Agreement

By completing your reservation, you confirm that you have read and agree to these policies and accept financial responsibility for damage, excessive cleaning, or other charges resulting from your use of MJB Studios or the actions of anyone attending your reservation. Failure to follow general respect of our spaces, rules, and other photographers will result in an immediate ban. Both photographers and their clients agree to these rules upon booking.
